2021 Subaru Outback vs. 2021 Honda CR-V

  • All 2021 Subaru Outback models come equipped with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, delivering optimal traction, handling and control whether you're facing the rainy streets of Wesley Chapel, off-road terrain or your morning commute. The new Honda CR-V also offers all-wheel drive, but it comes with standard front-wheel drive.
  • The new Outback comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display standard with a large 11.6-inch vertical touchscreen display on every other trim level to provide you with easy control of functions on the go. The CR-V offers a standard 5-inch display with an available 7 or 8-inch touchscreen as the largest.
  • All Outback models come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, allowing you to easily connect and control your mobile device using a familiar menu setup. The CR-V also offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but they don't come standard.
  • The new Honda CR-V gets a slight nod in standard horsepower. However, the 2021 Outback is available with a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that achieves 260-horsepower, compared to a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces 190-horsepower in the CR-V.
  • With that extra strength, the Outback allows you to tow up to 3,500 pounds, making it easy to get your boat from your home in Riverview to the water. The CR-V suggests 1,500 pounds as a maximum towing capacity.

2021 Subaru Outback vs. 2020 Toyota Highlander

  • All Outback models come with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive to provide you with greater traction and freedom on your travels around town in Temple Terrace or off the beaten path. The Highlander comes equipped with standard front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available at a higher price.
  • The new 2021 Outback starts at around $28,000, while the Highlander starts at around $34,600, allowing you to save or upgrade to a higher trim level of Outback model for a comparable price to the base Highlander.
  • Every 2021 Subaru Outback model comes equipped with raised roof rails, allowing you to easily attach a rack and bring your kayak, bicycles or other equipment with you all over Hillsborough County. The Highlander offers roof-rails, but only on higher trim levels.
  • The Highlander gets the nod in overall horsepower with 295-horsepower on its largest engine. However, the Outback gets the advantage in torque, offering 277 pounds-feet against 263 pounds-feet in each's largest engine.
